FashionBar The Shows: the Trans Media Fashion Show

An evening centered on inclusivity, identity, and self-expression through fashion. The Trans Media Fashion Show highlights transgender and non-binary models alongside designers whose work reflects authenticity, advocacy, and community-driven storytelling, bringing together fashion and media to increase visibility and representation within Chicago’s fashion industry.
This show is presented in partnership with Howard Brown Health and the Vernita Gray Council, supporting initiatives focused on healthcare access, equity, and community-based services for LGBTQ+ individuals. Additional support includes the Broadway Youth Center, a program of Howard Brown Health dedicated to providing affirming services and resources for LGBTQ+ youth.
The experience begins with red carpet access, VIP cocktails, and early engagement with designers, models, and participating brands. Light bites and beverages will be provided by Impulse Group Chicago and Spirits & Spice, with Salmalita Cosmetics as the official makeup sponsor. Additional charcturie by MyCharcuterie & non-alcoholic beverage option by PureGreen.

Saturday, April 25, 2026 – Check-in at 4:30 PM
A curated presentation of designers across Modern, Eco-Friendly & Ready2Wear, Next Gen, and Urban & Streetwear categories. The Collective Show highlights the continued growth of independent designers, bringing together a diverse range of collections that reflect innovation, sustainability, and evolving consumer fashion.
The experience begins with red carpet access, VIP cocktails, and early engagement with designers and brands. Refreshments will be provided by Spirits & Spice, with music by Ariana DJ. Hair and makeup will be supported by Tricoci University of Beauty Culture, with Salmalita Cosmetics as the official makeup sponsor.

The closing show of the weekend, highlighting statement footwear alongside refined evening wear collections from both emerging and established designers. The Shoe Show & Evening Wear Collections brings together craftsmanship, detail, and final-form design in an elevated presentation.
The experience includes a live designer shoe auction benefiting The Mary E. Smith Foundation, featuring donated shoes from Marc Nolan, along with additional contributions including Cheryl Burton. Light bites will be provided by LaVida Eat Fresh Catering, with guest experience support from Impulse Group Chicago.
